12 months of Pro Beta · one real rota first
Can Sort My Shifts handle your working life?
You have been invited to use the currently implemented Pro Beta features at no cost. Invitation valid for 90 days. Once activated, your Pro Beta access lasts 12 months. Start with your own phone and a genuine repeating shift pattern, then save it to your beta account and explore the account tools. Please try the mission without Simon guiding you—the confusing parts are exactly what this test needs to uncover.
- Invitation valid for 90 days
- 12 months of Pro Beta after activation
- No card or payment
- No automatic paid renewal
Before you begin
A quick, sensible agreement
- This is an early Pro beta. Check every date and time before relying on an exported calendar.
- Available now for testing: rota entry, review, calendar export and saved-rota account tools. Active Pro Beta accounts can also test opt-in partner linking, shared availability and recurring childcare windows. Both adults need their own beta access; rotas stay private until explicitly shared. Pro Beta is your trial access level, not a claim that all planned Pro features are complete.
- Invitation valid for 90 days. Once activated, your Pro Beta access lasts 12 months, costs £0, requires no payment card and will not automatically become a paid subscription.
- Do not enter confidential employer information, names of children or anything you would not want included in feedback.
- Participation is voluntary. You can stop at any point and ask for your submitted feedback to be deleted.
- The flexible-working tool produces planning ideas, not employment, legal or HR advice.
Your mission
Put your real shift pattern on your phone
- 1Create your free Pro Beta account
Open the account page, enter your email, create a password and use the private invitation code you were sent. Confirm your email if asked. No card is required.
- 2Enter a genuine rota
Open the planner and choose “Put your pattern on your phone easily”. Use a shortcut, a listed rota or your own words. Use the closest safe version if your employer treats the rota as confidential.
- 3Check before continuing
Confirm the start date, shift names and times. The first date must match the first position in your repeating pattern.
- 4Inspect the preview
Compare at least the first fortnight with a rota you know is correct. If it is wrong, stop and record what happened.
- 5Try one real-life change
Edit one individual day as overtime, leave, a swap or a rest day. Check that the repeating pattern itself stays unchanged.
- 6Use the calendar file
Create the free 12-week file, import it into Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook, and check at least three events—including an overnight shift if you work nights.
- 7Use the Pro account
Return to your account, save the rota, check that it appears in your saved rotas and try opening or viewing it again. Explore the currently available account tools and tell us what is useful or confusing.
Optional group mission: find time with friends
In Friends & social, one Pro organiser creates a group of two to five people and copies its private joining link. Every friend needs their own active beta account; this link is not an account invitation. Each person joins, selects their own saved rota and explicitly shares it. Compare a coffee, dinner or drinks window with times you know. Check that a missing rota stops the all-group result, then try stopping sharing, leaving and revoking the link. No messages or bookings are sent.
Optional second mission: try FlexiPlan
Return to the homepage and choose “Explore flexible working”. Try one genuine change—such as fewer hours, protected childcare times, dropping nights or different shift limits. Tell us whether the result is understandable and useful for a conversation with your employer.
Final step · about 3 minutes
Tell us what actually happened
Failures are more useful than polite answers. If you got stuck, say exactly where. Please do not include your full rota or confidential personal details.
Mission complete—thank you.
Your honest feedback has been sent. It will be used to decide what needs fixed before the next stage of Sort My Shifts.
